    - Cos'è R-Link

    R-LinK è il sistema di info/entraitanment installato su alcuni veicoli Renault.

    Nel sito Renault molte pagine web sono associate sia a R-LINk che a R-LINK Evolution.
    R-LINk e R-LINK Evolution sono due sistemi diversi con software diverso.

    Tramite l'applicazione R-Link è possibile aggiornare solitamente le sole mappe del TomTom.

    L'aggiornamento del sistema R-LINK Evolution (Android Auto) non può essere fatto dall'utente ma solo dalle officine Renault. Il servizio è gratuito.


    - My Renault

    My Renault è il portale da cui previa registrazione è possibile accedere a vari servizi relativi al veicolo tra cui anche

    - Scaricare l'applicazione R-LINK necessaria per l'aggiornamento del TomTom installato nel veicolo.
    - Scaricare, tramite l'applicazione R-LINK, gli aggiornamenti delle mappe TomTom (quando disponibili e abilitati al download)

    My Renault - Accesso

    Per la prima registrazione è necessario selezionare Iscriviti a My Renault e inserire

    Nome / Cognome / Indirizzo email / password scelta per l'accesso


    - Aggiornamenti navigatore

    La politica degli aggiornamenti TomTom ossia

    - Tempo max (dal ritiro del veicolo) primo aggiornamento gratuito

    - Eventuali aggiornamenti gratuiti successivi al primo

    varia da veicolo a veicolo e può essere verificata o sulla domentazione fornita con il veicolo, o contattando l'assistenza clienti fornendo oltre ai propri dati anche targa e numero di telaio del veicolo, o accedendo al portale My Renault nella sezione "Prodotti" collegata al proprio veicolo.

    R-LINK Toolbox è il software per il download e l'applicazioen degli aggiornamenti del sistema R-LINK.

    - Aggiornamenti con R-LINK Toolbox

    Per scaricare ed applicare gli aggiornamenti sono necessari

    - La scheda SD originale Renault
    - Un lettore di schede MicroSD per computer
    - Un computer con sistema operativo Windows
    - Una connessione internet
    - Il software R-LINK Toolbox
    - Aver efefttuato la registrazione al sito My Renault

    - Rimozione scheda SD dall'auto

    Importante!!!!

    Per rimuovere la scheda SD dall'auto è importante non estrarre la scheda SD fino a che non siano stati fatti i seguenti passaggi

    Menu -> Sistema e quindi nella seconda pagina selezionare Rimuovi la SD card

    - Aggiornamento sofwtare scheda SD con R-LINK Toolbox

    - Inserire la scheda nel lettroe SD collegato al PC.
    - Verificare che al scheda SD venga riconsociuta dal PC.
    - Inserisci la SD card per R-LINK nel lettore del computer.
    - Dovrebbe aprirsi il software R-LINK Toolbox. In caso contrario, lancia il software.
    - Accedi al tuo account MY Renault ed entra nella sezione "Aggiornamento" del sistema R-LINK Store, per verificare se vi sono aggiornamenti di sistema disponibili.
    - In caso affermativo, clicca su "Aggiorna". Consiglio: Se ti vengono proposti contemporaneamente un aggiornamento di sistema e un aggiornamento di versione delle mappe, scarica l'aggiornamento delle mappe soltanto dopo avere installato l'aggiornamento di sistema su R-LINK del veicolo Renault.
    - Ritorna al software R-LINK Toolbox e clicca su "Lancia download".
    - Attendi che il software R-LINK Toolbox confermi il completamento del download sulla scheda SD R-LINK.
    - Una volta completato il download degli aggiornamenti chiudi R-LINK Toolbox.
    - Estrai la scheda SD dal lettore collegato al PC.

    - Appliaczione aggiornamenti in auto

    Importante!!!!
    Gli aggiornamenti vanno sempre effettuati con motore in moto e auto ferma.

    - Accendere il motore e auto ferma.
    - Inserire nell'auto la scheda SD con gli aggiornamenti scaricati con R-LINK Toolbox.
    - Partirà un processo di aggiornamento.
    - Durante l'installazione dell'aggiornamento il sistema R-LINK può rimanere inattivo e riavviarsi: non rimuovere la SD card.
    - Importante: fino a completamento dell'aggiornamento NON spegnere il motore e NON estrarre la scheda SD.

    Alcune informazioni interessanti.

    R-LINK è riconosciuto dal computer quando è collegato tramite il miniUSB estremo (bianco).
    ADB non lo vede (probabilmente il debug USB è proibito).
    Sembra che il dispositivo sia in qualche modo simile al Tomtom Bridge

    Ci sono 7 transistor vicino alla CPU (vicino a "1001101"). Sembra che sia la selezione del dispositivo di avvio. In base al foglio dati, è possibile modificare SYS.BOOT[5] in 1 e avviare da UART o USB.
    O forse è possibile modificare il dispositivo di avvio dopo "Hit any key to stop autoboot:".
    Quindi è possibile caricare un bootloader personalizzato, cambiare il kernel e patchare navcore.
