PREMESSA:
Lo scopo di questa immagine, è quello di rendere all'utente finale, esperto o meno esperto, la facilità d'uso, sopratutto, avere la possibilità di installare su decoder differenti, sia come marchio che come modello, un' unica immagine capace di interfacciarsi con i vari box a disposizione.

Molto è cambiato dalla versione 1.0 ; abbiamo ascoltato le esigenze degli utenti del forum ed abbiamo reso l'immagine allo stesso tempo, completa, con le stesse funzioni su tutti i decoder supportati, ma anche leggerissima e veloce.
L'immagine ha tutti i servizi, come pcscd, cron, device mount, DVB-T driver, Network mount (mediatomb, minidlna, djmount, ecc).. ma allo stesso tempo è priva di tutti questi file, che verranno installati dall'utente, semplicemente entrando nei appositi pannelli !!
Infatti installando l'immagine vi ritroverete i servizi essenziali ma, con un paio di click del vostro telecomando, tutto sarà configurabile in autodownload.
Sovraccaricare una immagine di servizi non espressamente utili all'utente, è un imperativo dato che la immagine puo essere installata su Decoder che hanno dai 64 mb ad 1Gb di flash !!
La ItalySat 4.0 vuole essere leggera ma allo stesso tempo vuole supportare tutto.

Sicuramente è più facile capire quello che può darvi, provandola piuttosto che descrivendola !!

Open Pli solo image
If you dont like modded images and want the original image from openpli DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS ONE no bitchin about thing don't look the same as the original pli image.

A load of useless crap removed to speed things up.
No password on this image.( You must set a password to be safe from other people hacking your box.)
I have included a program called "putty" this is a telnet program for you to set the password.
----Changing/setting the password---------
Copy the image file to a usb pen drive formated to FAT32
install contense of rar file to the root of your pen drive.
It should look like this vuplus inside that dir you should see a dir called solo if you see this you are safe to plug the usb pen into the front usb behind the flap on the righthand side.
After you have placed the usb in the front press the tiny little button at the back of the box in the middle for atleast 6 seconds, then release it and the box shouls start to reprogram. you will know if it is reprogramming as the green light changes from green to red/orange.
_______VERY IMPORTANT_________________
Do not power down the box till the light flashes green constant it may take upto 10 mins please leave well alone till it flashes green. IF YOU SWITCH IT OFF BEFORE HAND YOU WILL KILL THE BOX .......

When you have programmed the box. remove the usb pen. repower the box by holding in the little power button on the back for 6 seconds step back and wait for the screen to show the sky pirate. when the blue circle has been on and off 3 times you can find the ip of the box by pressing MENU then SETUP then SYSTEM then NETWORK the ADAPTOR SETTINGS. once you know the ip address you can change the password on the box. TRY AND PICK A HARD TO GUESS PASSWORD ie theeaglehaslanded etc.
click on the program PUTTY change the HOSTNAME to your ip address of the box.Leave the port setting to 23,change the CONNECTION TYPE to TELNET
Then click on the open tab at the bottom.
you will get a black screen with text saying
vusolo login:
you need to type root
it will then take you to the root
type passwd and press enter
it will ask you to type in a password. type in your new password then press enter. it will ask you again to enter the same password. when you have done this and pressed enter it will say.
passwd: password changed.
root@vusolo:~# passwd: password changed.
close PUTTY

I have included a free FTP program called COREFTP
This will allow you to change the details in the "CCcam.cfg" file to your own to make it work and you can edit the "oscam.server" to your details.
the cccam.cfg file is located in etc/
right mouse click and select edit

this will look like this

once you have changed these files you can get the box to work.

The oscam.server is located in 3 different dir called

and
/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-stable/

/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam-unstable/
in these dir you will find 4 files
oscam.conf
oscam.dvbapi
oscam.server
oscam.user

the only file you need to edit is oscam.server
you can right mouse click on the file and select edit

There are 3 server in this config but you only need 1 the other are there just incase you need them.
once you have set the detail correctly into the correct files you can select what softcam you want to try.
press menu >setup > SoftCam/CI Softcam setup...
then you will see

Select Softcam CCcam
Restart Softcam

you can change the softcam by selecting the cam in the top line and pressing the right arrow till the desired cam is pressent.
then move down to the bottom line press ok this changes the cam and restart exit this and you are now running the new softcam.
