BOOT-FLASH-USB-E2-SIM2-DM800SE-25122019-Pgs

1. What is this ?
A image file(img,bin...), make it with …Win32DiskImager…...from a BOOT-FLASH-OMB usb


2. What is inside ?
There are 4 partitions
a) DREAM-BOOT fat16 , 30mb
b)ROOT ext3 , 1000mb - external flash - openbh 0.6
c)SWAP linux, 512mb
d)HOME of OMB and your data (picon,movies ….) ext3 , about 6000mb


3. How install ?
Extract on pc the zip file ,install on your pc Win32DiskImager…., put on pc a usb stick minimum 8GB ,
open …Win32DiskImager…. and write image file to usb.


4. How it is work ?
On internal flash can you have any E2 image you like.(don't need it)
Make your receiver (dm800se sim2) to boot from usb …http://wiki.blue-panel.com/index.php...ot_Script_(en)…………….
Put usb stick on receiver, remove any device, power on, and your machine boot with OMB interface select image and press ok button


ATTENTION
1. mount usb
if you have on dreambox a internal hdd move usb to pc open DREAM-BOOT partition edit with text autoexec_dm800se.bat file and change in
second line, root=/dev/sda2 to root=/dev/sdb2 or if you have more device root=/dev/sdc2 (it depends how mount your usb, sda , sdb, sdc ......)


2. boot images base openatv or openpli
when a image boot
a) boot with vmlinux that is on DREAM-BOOT , with /lib/modules/ that is on image in OMB or ROOT
b) this vmlinux with modules MUST BE from the same compile-build image base from pli or openatv
c) not possible ,for example, to boot if vmlinux on DREAM-BOOT is pli and modules on multiboot image is from openatv or the opposite
d) possible to boot image base pli, with vmlinux - modules from openatv or the opposite

3.use this usb
off course , you can keep the partitions and put inside any flash image or multiboot you want
but keep on your mind , you need linux os or simulator linux on windows pc to edit b,c,d partitions
