PowerISO, infatti, è in grado di gestire una grandissima quantità di formati, tra cui i diffusissimi ISO, BIN, NGR e quelli meno utilizzati come CDI, DAA e molti altri. PowerISO permette di aprire ed estrarre i file ISO, creare delle immagini ISO partendo da file presenti sul proprio hard disk o su un cd-rom / dvd-rom, manipolare direttamente le immagini ISO esistenti andando ad aggiungere, modificare o rimuovere i file in essi presenti, convertire i vari formati (da BIN a ISO, da ISO a BIN e molto altro, in particolar modo quasi tutti i formati supportati da PowerISO potranno essere convertiti in ISO)









Le capacità di PowerISO comunque non si fermano qui; è anche possibile creare delle immagini da avviare, sfruttare dei sistemi per creare file di immagine più leggeri, montare le immagini su periferiche virtuali (senza la necessità di installare altri software); soprattutto, PowerISO offre un’interfaccia utente veramente semplice da usare, che però cela una potenza veramente fuori dal comune.
