WiiMC - Media Center per WII

Alla wii,secondo il mio modesto parere,mancano 2 cose...l'HD (Alta Definizione) e un Media Center!
Mentre per la prima non si può fare nulla,per la seconda invece alcuni coder hanno creato un Homebrew che si preannuncia un vero MUST per i possessori di WII!

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Version 1.0 of WiiMC. It’s been a long time in the works, but we finally feel confident enough in the quality of the application to release it. However, please keep in mind that as this is a first release you will likely encounter bugs or find features missing that you may have been expecting.

We highly recommend that you download and run the IOS 202 Installer before starting WiiMC for the first time, even if you have previously installed IOS 202.

Please find your way to the Forum to discuss the project or any issues you have. If you do encounter a bug, please report it.

There’s still plenty of improvement possible, in terms of stability, performance, and features, so I would like to invite anyone who’s interesting in helping out to dive into the source code and start coding. We definitely need the help. If you have trouble compiling, visit our Forum. If you do make changes that you feel would be useful, please submit a patch.

Ovviamente la versione non è ancora stabile al 100%,infatti dopo la release 1.0 è stata subito rilasciata la 1.0.1 con sariati FIX,ma siamo comunque sulla buona strada!
Per far funzionare questo WiiMC è necessario il cios 202 di Hermes V5,oppure il cios 202 che gli stessi coder hanno modificato e che trovate nell'area download insieme all'applicazione!

Piccola guida per la configurazione di WiiMC col PC

- Bisogna condividere la cartella con i nostri file sul pc,per farlo basta fare click col tasto destro del mouse,poi andare in proprietà,selezionare condivisione e spuntare Condividi la cartella in rete
- avviate poi wiimc e andate in impostazioni o setting, dipende se avete impostato l'italiano o l'inglese come lingua di wiimc,comunque sta in alto a destra
- nel caso,visto che siamo italiani,in setting,andate su global,e scegliete la lingua italiana prima di proseguire
- poi andate su rete
- selezionate aggiungi condivisione
- impostate il nome della cartella condivisa nel campo Nome Visualizzato
- impostate l'IP del proprio PC in IP Condivisione
- infine andate su video/musica e selezionate la cartella appena creata per gustarvi i vostri file presenti nell'hard disk del PC
