Like i have told i do not own DM500HD. So i challenged my self make couple of images to DM500HD Ferrari. After lot of mistakes i finaly got working images and i want share these with you

My test in F500HD...

Flashed it as described in this section...

Afterwards, I got out of the Wizard ASAP and then

I went through almost all the general settings configuring it all manually, "on foot", to my needs and then

network mounting of shared (NAS) folders, using the Network Browser (fast and easy for NFS),

tuner configured and HotBird scanned - 2161 channel (found more than Alien2, which is supposed to have a really good tuner and at a considerably higher speed!) >

reboot.

Blue button > In PB Centre I went to > PB System Setup > Device Manager:

-(yellow button) Initialised my 16GB Cruzer Blade USB memory stick, which I placed internally > partitioned (2 partitions, 3% - 97%)

-Partitions (red button) formated both in ext2 (yellow button - patience for the larger, second partition...)

-(red button) mounted (sda1 = USB - app. 1/2 GB and sda2 = HDD - app. 15.5 GB)

-all checks out (green button) > Exit (blue button)

-MENU button to Expand > message on screen "rsync is missing, installing it now"

-when it is done > MENU button > (green button) Expand to device (/media/usb)

-automatic reboot is OK!!!

-blue button > back to PB Centre> Device Manager > (blue button) SWAP file (YES, 128MB, to HDD > Save button)

-FileZilla Client > create folders on HDD (picon, subtitles, 1Ch)

-set epg path: /media/hdd

-set picon path: /media/hdd/picon > Save - restart GUI > OK

-(back to Device Manager > System settings > Hide cam info > no > GUI restart

-system info > all checks out, except Spaceview /hdd, where only my NAS was detected and displayed but not sda2 (HDD)

MENU > Plugins (some plugins are missing an icon):

-Remove plugins (cable, wireless)

-Download plugins > crossepg 300 PB > Restart E2/GUI; Picons 13E got me a GSOD!, CCcam info; Dreamexplorer, which seems to have installed but I got messages about missing components etc,; Cool tv guide also, "no valid architecture, ignoring" kind of message; DVD player also; MyTube; OSCam status PB, too; CCcam and OSCam also had the same "invalid architecture" messages, like all of the above mentioned > restart enigma)


Install ipk from my laptop: TSmedia 2.5, using a Telnet command:

Since this is OE1.6/OpenPLi 2.0 with Python 2.6...

In TSmedia go to 1CH and choose a film. When offered servers press the "Subtitles" button. TSmedia will detect that you have no DDsubtitles Player plugin installed and it will offer to install it for you. Approve and it will download it and install it in one go, then restart is automatic. After restart go to Plugins > DDsubtitle and once in the menu it will offer an update. Press "0" on RCU and change the option to YES and it will be done! Approve the restart of GUI! Shortly after you will have the latest version and it will all be integrated and work fine!

CCcam works fine, both CS and as EMU (TV Globo uses keys). OSCam is giving me a headache... What normally works does not make a single image appear... The one included (8xxx) and Ymod additionally brought in.

Packet Manager - first packet also has "invalid architecture"... Old link to updates, I suppose...
